Make your photoshoot go smoothly by helping us capture your property at its best and as quickly as possible. Here are some things that will help . . .

01

How long does a real estate photo shoot take?

Standard residential photo shoots typically take 1–2 hours, though the exact time varies based on property size and services requested.

Larger homes, luxury estates, commercial properties, or specialized shoots (video, drone, twilight) may require additional time to ensure all content is captured.

03

How are my photos delivered?

You will receive your purchased media through a unique link from where you can download high‑resolution images in both MLS‑optimized and web-optimized versions, as well as any additional media such as video files or virtual tours.

We commit to keep all links active for 90 days after completion.

05

How do weather conditions impact a photo shoot?

Light rain or overcast skies are usually manageable, but how it affects the shoot will need to be determined by the photographer on site.

For aerial footage captured by drone, any heavy rain, strong winds, or unsafe flying conditions can affect exterior work and may result in postponement.

If weather compromises quality or safety, we’ll work with you to reschedule at no charge.

07

Who is responsible for preparing the property before a photo shoot?

The homeowner or listing agent is responsible for ensuring the property is clean, decluttered, and photo‑ready.

During the booking process, and after booking confirmation, we provide our clients a complete prep checklist to maximize the attractiveness of the property easily and efficiently.

09

Who owns the photos or video?

All clients receive a license by Fordfoto to use supplied content for on MLS sites, social media, and site marketing for the property. Fordfoto will retain the copyright.

Licensed media cannot be transferred to third parties or used for other purposes without the express, written permission of FordFoto.

11

Are you compliant with the FAA for commercial drone work?

Yes. All drone operations are performed by FAA Part 107–licensed pilots, ensuring full compliance with federal regulations and local airspace restrictions.

Please inform us as part of the booking process if you’d like to see Fordfoto licenses, certifications, or insurance policy.

13

What is your cancellation / rescheduling policy?

Weather‑related adjustments are always accommodated without penalty. We will advise you if a booking must be rescheduled due to weather, and will work with you to accommodate the next available appointment.

For all other cancellations, we ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you are rescheduling a shoot with less than 24 hours notice, there will be a $75 rescheduling fee and will be subject to photographer availability.

If you are cancelling with less than 24 hours notice, the 50% deposit required for booking confirmation will not be refunded.

15

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 2–4 days in advance, especially during peak listing seasons.

Same‑day or next‑day appointments may be available depending on the schedule.

17

What’s the difference between a daytime shoot and a twilight shoot?

Daytime shoots highlight interiors, natural light, and property details, while twilight shoots emphasize ambiance, exterior lighting, and dramatic curb appeal.

Twilight images are ideal for luxury listings and marketing hero shots.

19

What cities do you cover?

We serve Miami, Broward, and West Palm Beach, with extended coverage available throughout Southeast Florida.

02

When will I receive my photos, virtual tours, and videos?

We aim to deliver media for photo shoots by next business day if shot before 3:00pm. Otherwise, 2 business days.

Larger or more complex projects, like those with aerial media, may take longer. We anticipate delays and will promptly communicate if media delivery might exceed two business days from project completion.

04

What kind of editing can I expect?

All photos include professional color correction, exposure balancing, window over-exposure corrections when possible or necessary, lens correction, and object cleanup for small or minor distractions.

Advanced retouching (item removal, sky replacements, virtual staging, etc.) is available upon request, and may result in additional fees.

06

Do I have to meet the photographer to give access to the property?

Not necessarily. Many agents provide lockbox codes, gate codes, or remote access instructions.

As long as entry is arranged, you don’t need to be onsite.

08

How do I prepare for the photo shoot?

At a minimum, it is recommended to turn on all lights, open blinds, remove personal items, remove trash cans and ensure outdoor spaces are tidy. Small touches like arranging pillows or hiding trash bins make a big difference.

We provide a complete prep checklist to make the process easy and efficient.

10

What about animals?

We love animals, but they can slow down the process or wander into shots.

Pets should be secured or removed during the shoot to avoid appearing in photos and to ensure safety of our staff.

12

Is drone photography worth it for smaller listings or condos in Miami?

Absolutely.

In Miami’s dense and scenic environment, drone shots help highlight location, amenities, proximity to water, and neighborhood appeal, even for smaller units or buildings.

14

Do you charge travel fees outside of Miami?

Travel anywhere within Miami-Dade county is included for free.

Shoots in Broward,, West Palm Beach, or other surrounding areas may include a small travel fee depending on distance from our main office in Doral, FL.

What types of listings do you photograph — luxury, rentals, or both?

We photograph all types of properties — luxury estates, single‑family homes, rentals, condos, commercial spaces, empty lots and new developments.
